Baby Hayley Harz

CONGRATULATIONS D and Carl!!
Baby Hayley was born on March 29, 2006 at about 3 PM. She weighed in at 8lbs. 6ozs., just as the proud Grandmother predicted.
(I put in for 8lbs. 9ozs.)
She is such a beautiful baby.
You can tell she is daddies little girl already...not only does she look like him, but she loves to be in his arms!!
It's questionable if she likes her "Aunt" Stacey at this point. She was a bit temperamental and grouchy with me the first time around. But by the second time she was in my arms she was content, sleepy, happy and cute as a button!
Congratulations again, you were blessed with a healthy, beautiful baby girl.
I hope she brings you both the utmost joy!

Evidence or Blackmail?

I know this looks terrible!
It's not really what you think.
I would never, ever, nap on the job.
Well maybe I shouldn't say never or ever.
But I am not napping here.
I mean I have fallen asleep on the job.

Well, actually almost everyday i nap around 3 until about 4.
This particular picture I really was just resting my eyes. Productive daydreaming I call it.
I mean when I do nap I lay on a desk atop my comfy cushiony stretch/yoga mat, w/my teddy bear pillow and sweater blankie....so i ask you this, does this position even look comfortable?
The answer my friends, any position when tired enough is comfortable for me.

People come and go in your life, but few remain close...i am happy to say that the two above mentioned have been dear to me for over 10 years. I had the honor of attending Ms. McKinnon's bridal shower last Saturday.
What a cozy and happy time.
She looked beautiful!!!

D and Carl, you guys have had so many bumps along the path traveled to get where you are now. You two deserve nothing but much love, success and happiness not only with baby Haley but with upcoming travels along the bumpy road we call life.

I hope you know you can come to me with anything you need, and I hope you do.
You two are going to make excellent parents and I cannot wait to see the beauty that comes out of the happy life the three of you will lead together!
